Stussy (actually Stüssy) is one of street / surf / skate wear fashions greatest and most influential brands. Despite this, the brand since its birth in 1980 managed to stay relatively underground, which certainly contributed to the fact that Stussy, along with a few others in the genre will never be really out there – and thus proud to count themselves amongst the classics.
Surfer Shawn Stüssy started the company in 1980 in Laguna Beach, USA, with a collection of T-shirts he had screen-printed his now iconic signature on. The shirts made great success and with them as a base he opened street wear pioneer Stüssy in both Los Angeles and New York in 1986.

Over the years, the brand with their clothing, shoes and accessories represented a type of patchwork streetwear located at the intersection of hip-hop, grunge, skate, surf and work wear, with elements of military and preppy. Since 1996, Stussy has been guided by the design of the art director Paul Mittelmann. Stussy T-shirts are a real classic for any mans wardrobe and Stussy wallets also go down well.
