Versace was one of the 1980 – and 1990s greatest names in the fashion world. Even after the founder Gianni Versace’s death in 1997 the company lives on with its glamorous and almost but not quite erotic style.
The most intense gold and leather overdose from the 1990s are gone, but the many influences from antiquity and the baroque fat is left with Giannis little sister Donatella today acting as style as well as image director and not just a silent role on the board.
